IS THIS REALLY THAT IMPORTANT?
Why yes, it is. Here's some numbers to ponder:
# of Participating Bands - ~25
# of Spectators - 5,000 - 8,000 depending on # of bands and fan base
# of Volunteer Spots - ~380
Imagine serving up to 8,000 people with less than 400 volunteers! It is a huge undertaking! Which is why we keep asking for more volunteers. Some positions are very specific (PA Announcer) and some can be staffed by students (Warm Up Timekeeper) but most require adult volunteers. It really is our biggest event of the year!
Important Changes!!!
NO PARKING FEES! YIPPEE!
Attendants will be present at the entrance "Y" to direct Spectators to the left hand (Visitors Side) parking lot. But there is no parking fee! This should allow for a better traffic flow. But don't fret, we estimate that between ticket sales and concessions sales, we will make enough revenue to cover the difference. If you signed up for Parking Attendant we still need you! We still need Attendants at the entrance and at the South exit gate. Angela Brown will be contacting you with more information.
VOLUNTEER PARKING SECTIONS
If you've not yet attended at Volunteer Orientation Session, the last opportunity is Tuesday, Oct. 8. As a Volunteer you will receive a Parking Pass which will allow you to park in designated areas. Please park only in these areas so that Spectators, Band Directors, School Buses and Auxillary Trucks can park in their designated areas safely. A Parking Map is linked below.

CONCESSIONS NEEDS YOU!
While we can breathe a small sigh of relief regarding Parking, we still need volunteers for Concessions, particularly the evening shifts. In the evening, Spectators are here to see the Finalists perform - they want fresh, hot food and cold drinks. We need volunteers in both Concessions Stands (each end of the Home Side) to serve them. Click below to access the Concessions tab directly. Please note: The shifts are timed so that we are preparing food during the break between Prelims and Finals. A portion of your shift will occur during this break even though Spectators won't be in the stadium.

CAN I JUST SHOW UP ON SATURDAY?
Not really. We need you to go to the Sign Up Genius and indicate what role and time you can provide help. This also ensures that you receive your TMC Volunteer Shirt when you check in. The reality is, we probably don't need 10 "floaters" showing up at 8:00 AM. In fact, per the note above, we know some our greatest needs are in the evening. So, please take a look at the Sign Up and figure out the best time/role for you. We thank everyone for stepping up and participating in our largest fundraiser!
